When I got my bimmer I had to replace the rear tyres and the chap at Guildford Tires recomended the Toyo's as he said he had them fitted to his Scooby, which he wern't lying about as he parks it outside the shop

I agree with all the above comments, they are great for grip even in the wet so I will be using these in the future.

Has anyone tried the new Toyo Proxies T1-R?

I want to try them next time, as long as they arn't some stupid price just cause they are new. The trouble is these T1-S's are lasting quite a long time 3 full trackdays (about 100 miles each) a few single sessions at trackdays, and well over 6000 fastish road miles.

dont rate these at all, rubish grip compared to the yokohama avs, horrid in the wet. def not go here again

I had Toyo Proxes on the rear as the manager of the tire place near my work recomended them as he had them on his Scooby and I found them great in both wet and dry but as the price has shot up and I needed some fast I went for the Hankook Evo's which so far seem ok as they are cheaper. Anyone tried these? Know about these?
